Deborah Ehrlich

Fashioned of hand-blown crystal, Deborah Ehrlich Glassware is quite simply flawless. Deborah Ehrlich, a trained sculptor, employs her artistry to full effect in her exquisite line of glassware, votives and hurricanes available at Kneen & Co.

During extensive travels and time spent living in Vienna and Copenhagen, Ehrlich developed an appreciation for the beauty and old world craftsmanship of hand blown glass. In order to achieve desired proportions and delicacy, she hand draws each element with pencil on tracing paper before completing the molds. Master Swedish craftsmen then hand blow each piece using lead-free crystal, accurately preserving Ehrlich’s hand-traced lines.

No facet is overlooked; even the lip of each vessel is delicately hand cut and polished to enhance the play of light so that it suggests a halo. Each piece is finished by Ehrlich’s signature with a diamond tipped pen.
