My Private Sky represents the ultimate in personalization: each seven-piece set shows the night sky at the date, time and location of a special event such as a birthday, wedding, or graduation.

The date and place of an event is charted to create a personal night sky map, which is printed onto a set of blueprints. Nymphenburg's master porcelain painters then reproduce the blueprints by hand. Each set of porcelain dinner plates involves the hand painting of approximately 500 stars, nebulae, planets and constellations in gold and platinum.

Designed by Clemes Weisshaar and Reed Kram, My Private Sky consists of seven individually hand-painted porcelain plates a vellum print that has acted as a blueprint for the painters and a porcelain legend, all in a handmade white poplarwood box, each entirely unique and customized for the buyer.
