The Atlas pattern, created in the 18th Century at the Nymphenburg, is inspired by the geometric woven patterns of Ikat textiles which were imported to Europe from Southeast Asia. As one of the earliest abstract paintings employed on European porcelain, the Atlas service was well ahead of its time when first designed as the pattern still looks modern and fresh today.

Please note that the dinnerware collection featured above is available in a wide variety of colors, sizes, shapes, and patterns. This dinnerware, like all Nymphenburg dinnerware, may be customized and combined with other patterns. Please contact us for more information and pricing.
